A 61-year-old Middletown man was released on bail following his arrest for possessing child pornography, police said today. Middletown Police Chief Henry Tobin said Peter Wise, of the first block of Hayley Court in the Mill Branch neighborhood, was charged March 13 with two felony counts of unlawfully dealing in child pornography. Acting on information received from the state Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit and the Delaware Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that Wise was allegedly receiving Internet images of children engaged in sexual acts, officers got a warrant to search his home and seized computers. A preliminary examination of the computers revealed two files containing photographs of children engaging in sex acts with adults. |
