A man who authorities say obtained child pornography through a company based in the central European nation of Belarus will spend 5 years in federal prison. Thirty-four-year-old Chad Housley of Ypsilanti pleaded guilty in November to one felony count of receiving child pornography. He was sentenced Friday. U.S. Attorney Stephen Murphy says federal agents identified Housley in 2003 as part of their investigation into Belarus-based Regpay, which operated child porn Web sites and payment services. In May 2007 he surrendered his computer and various optical disks containing 2,579 child porn images and 43 films. |
