Grand jury indicts swim coach in child porn case

clipped from www.county29.net A swim coach accused of videotaping girls undressing in the locker rooms of Kokomo and Westfield high schools was formally indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury sitting in Indianapolis. Hindson Brian D. Hindson, 40, of Westfield faces three counts of production of child pornography, four counts of distributing child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.   Timothy M. Morrison, Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana, said the indictment is a procedural necessity, but that the investigation of this matter is ongoing and not yet complete. According to the indictment, sometime between 2005 and 2007, Hindson produced child pornography in connection with three underage girls. Morrison said the law does not require that the minor in the depiction be aware of or voluntarily participate in its creation. Hindson is also alleged to have distributed child pornography containing images of some of the young girls.
