FBI, county join Jackson police

Members of local, county and federal law enforcement agencies — including a SWAT unit — descended on a North Hope Chapel Road home at 6 a.m. Thursday, arresting a man on charges of possession of child pornography.

Gregory H. Williams, 44, was led from the house about 10 a.m. after the raid on his parents' home. Investigators also seized his computer, authorities said.

Williams pulled the hood of his tan jacket over his face as he was escorted out. He was taken to police headquarters here, where prosecutor's Investigator James Hill signed a complaint charging him with possession of child pornography, prosecutor's Capt. Michael Mohel said.
