Kevin Patrick Boody, 41, had been indicted by a federal grand jury in 2007. At sentencing he faces between 15 and 40 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
pleaded guilty Tuesday to interstate transportation of child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Authorities said Boody transmitted sexual images of children to other individuals, including an undercover FBI agent, over the Internet. A search of his computers found more than 9,000 images and 200 videos with child pornography. Authorities said he admitted to trading child porn since the early 1990s.
Boody was previously convicted of sexual abuse of a minor in Maine in 2000, according to court documents.
